AWANA MINISTRY

Awana helps churches and parents to raise children and youth to know, love and serve Jesus Christ.  On Wednesday evenings in Awana, children have the opportunity to study, and memorize verses from the Bible that will help them grow in their relationship to God and learn how to follow Jesus in their everyday life.  Games, friendships, singing, and special events and activites make Awana an exciting place to be! Each night is divided into three segments:  In Game Time, kids participate in relays and other exciting games on the Awana Circle.  In Handbook Time, kids practice memorizing and studying scripture in small groups.  In Large Group Time, the kids come together in a large group for worship, singing and a Bible story and lesson. CUBBIES Children ages 3 and 4 years old are in our Cubbies program.  Cubbies wiggle, giggle, sing, make crafts and learn about Jesus in ways that are just right for them.  Our dedicated Cubbies leaders are an awesome team focused on loving kids to Jesus.        SPARKS Sparks is for kids in Kindergarten through 2nd grade.  Sparks run the gane circle with unbounded energy, work with determination in their handbooks and learn with open hearts from our leaders and speakers.

TRUTH AND TRAINING

Our T & T kids are in grades 3 through 6.  They bring an energy, excitement and enthusiasm to Wednesday nights that is contagious and is such a blessing to our Awana leadership team!  Special events are planned during the year for this age group, including a Snow Camp sleepover weekend filled with activities and the Awana Gran Prix, in which they design and make cars to race in competition with each other.
